how old does a child have to be to go without a car seat in florida?
I wouldn't worry about the law b/c they don't always equal safe. A child needs to be in a carseat or booster until they are 4'9" tall. At this height, the seatbelt will lie properly across the child. Moving a child into an adult seatbelt too quickly
