For the history buffs: What is a 1972 Subaru 62?

I came across a reference to a 1972 Subaru "62" in the NHTSA recall file. I can find no reference to a model 62 produced by Subaru, in 1972 or any other year.

However, there is a Subaru 1300G that uses a EA62 engine, and perhaps

I took a look, for a good 20 minutes or so, and wasn't able to find anything at all about it, except for probably the same thing you did, an NHTSA recall file, that mentions 62 as a model.
