I live in Iowa and I just put euro taillights on my car. My question is are they legal. There is some white when the car is turned on, my friend said to make sure that's legal before driving it and you cant have a white light on the back of your car.

A lot of laws vary state to state, but almost all do not allow ANY white light to be emitted from the rear of the vehicle in forward motion.

Also, federally, the DOT has to have approved all light fixtures on the vehicle. This is for multiple
